Gold Bear

Dutch East Design developed the brand, naming, menu, signage and website for a NYC based sports themed cocktail bar. The name nods to the California based sports team, “The Golden Bears” which the bar celebrates - always airing their games.

The brand pulls from golden state iconography of the 80’s including heavily striped knee-socks, tennis stars, and a fun energetic color palette. The venue’s sports programing focuses largely on obscure or atypical sports, which are heavily featured throughout the brand in posters, coasters, and postcards.
